How do K-9 carts work on different type terrain?Carts work well on most surfaces as carts just follow along behind where your pet normally goes. For some pets, they will not work on a pebbly beach or in winter on an unploughed snowy pathway.
If you walk through woods or hiking trails, you will have to be prepared to rescue them if a wheel becomes caught in a hole or tree root.
We recommend that if you use your cart in salt water that you rinse off the cart in fresh water. WD-40 can also help maintain the wheel axles. See many carts in action at our video gallery
